I had family in town for my fathers funeral and about 17 of us went for dinner on a Saturday night. They gave us a private room and had designed an extensive menu (3 courses) for us.   The food was incredible and our waiter Mehdi, was perfect. Didn't... hover and was on top of everything from drink refills to serving us.   I love this place and will definitely be back!!!! Had a great spur of the moment meal with a friend tonight. Cute space tucked away in the palisades. We made reservations before hand, and when we arrived there was seating available for us inside and outside. The patio has a nice voice red area curre... ntly. We had glasses of wine and split the meatballs, Brussels and each got a cacio e Pepe- the tastes were great and authentic and the servings were perfect-not too much or little. Treated to dessert after with Italian donuts and hazelnut spread. The server and host were attentive throughout the night. Would recommend and will be back again!Read more

Excellent service and beautiful food. The host went above and beyond to help us accommodate our 10 month baby. Simply lovely experience.

What a Treat! As two Italian foodaholics, we enjoyed every bit of our meal: beautiful fresh salami, pasta with seafood, orichiette  with rape, and plump bombelloni for dessert! staff is lovely, friendly.....Go there!!!

Absolutely amazing experience. Food was delicious, and the service was so kind. They are understaffed, yet it doesn't feel like it! We love this restaurant, easily favourite local spot in DC - above all downtown places. Lovely staff and such delicious food! Yay!! Thanks God, my Lupo Verde now has their deli area open!. Their deli menu is awesome from their delicious sandwiches, bread variety, little Italian market ( all kinds  of pasta, fresh deli meat, and cheese), espresso coffee/lattes, and desserts ... . Staff (Angelo,Matt 'chef', Marina...)always on point, courteous and cleaned environment as well.Read more

Omg. Don't even know where to begin. The service was A++. Thank you to Marina and the bartender who made my delicious Aperol spritz, sorry I didn't get your name. Marina was soooo patient with me. I was one of those annoying customers that didn't kno... w what they wanted and Marina worked through it with me. She was so sweet and patient. The restaurant was clean, everyone wore masks. Everyone was so attentive. The manager checked on me. The busser was on top of clearing plates. Marina anticipated my every need. She brought out balsamic, salt, and pepper when I asked for bread. Now to the food. I got the mussels from the anti pasta. I think the dish is called the cozze. I am obsessed. So full of flavor. So delicious. So well done. Wow. And I got the Brussel sprouts, also amazing. I just stumbled upon this restaurant but I will definitely be back.Read more

This is not your typical Italian restaurant. This is the BEST Italian fair in the district no competition! I've only been here twice, but had the same experience both times. The food is fantastic!
